The East Coast was rocked again overnight by an earthquake from Virginia.

The 4.5 magnitude quake was once again centered near where Tuesday’s large 5.8 quake originated  in Mineral, Va., just 32 miles southwest of Fredericksburg, according to the USGS.


Woodbridge, Va. — Prince William officials plan to honor the 22 residents from the county who died on Sept. 11, 2001.

Nineteen of them were killed in a terrorist attack the Pentagon in Arlington and three at the World Trade Center in New York City.

The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed a 4.2 aftershock centered near Mineral, Va. at 8:05 p.m.


Prince William County, Va. — The American Wartime Museum slated to be built in Dale City will host an open house this weekend.

Museum officials have invited residents to Nokesville in western Prince William County to see demonstrations of tanks and flame throwers, and to learn more about a planned museum that aims to recreate the wartime experience for the public.

Many student houses and dorms at your school might not have adequate automatic sprinklers or fire alarm systems. Regularly testing fire and smoke detectors is the first smart action you can take at any new location you move to.
