Update Tuesday noon:
Monday’s wet snow halted plans to move a pedestrian bridge into place near Butler Road in Stafford County. Officials said they are waiting for the ground to freeze once more before they can install the bridge.
Update 2:30 p.m.
The man charged in connection to an incident in Stafford County over the weekend is a high-ranking police official in Fredericksburg.
Dawn, a financial advisor, said his involvement in with his family, area boy scouts, and in his church would keep him from performing the job of supervisor to his best ability.
“Hats off to the people who serve on the Board. It seems like its 30-hour-a-week job, one that they do in addition to their day jobs,” said Dawn.

Dog licenses in Stafford County are due at Jan 31 and cost $5 for spayed or neutered dogs and $10 for dogs that are not fixed. On their website, the county has listed other dog licensing fees. Dogs must be licensed in Stafford if they are at least 4-months old.
