Connolly plans 17th tele-town hall
Congressman Gerry Connolly will hold his 17th telephone town hall on Tuesday, February 5th at 8:05 pm for residents of Virginia’s 11th Congressional District residing in Fairfax and Prince William Counties and the City of Fairfax.
We’re under a tornado watch this evening as gusty winds are expected to move across the Washington region as part of a mean line of thunderstorms moving east.
Prince William, Stafford, and jurisdictions all along Interstate 95 are under the watch. It’s part of a sea of color that showed up on a National Weather Service warning map for the area just before 7 p.m.
FALMOUTH, Va. — If you normally cross the Falmouth Bridge from Fredericksburg into to Stafford County during your morning commute, we don’t need to tell you traffic was snarled this morning.
It happened about 5 a.m. after a crew performing parapet work on the bridge was cleaning up from overnight work when their bucket truck struck an overhanging light fixture on the bridge.

RICHMOND, Va. – Supporters of the so-called Boneta Bill, aimed at protecting the rights of farmers, came to Capitol Square wearing pitchfork buttons with stickers that said, “Stay out of grandma’s kitchen.” They lined the wall of a conference room where the House Agriculture Subcommittee met Monday to decide whether to recommend approval of the measure.
