Opinion

I’m a telework evangelist. I enjoy “connecting the dots” between the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010, Rep. Gerry Connolly’s Telework 2.0 initiative, Virginia Delegates Ramadan and Comstock’s legislation to offer telework tax credits, the federal push to reduce the size and cost of Government, BRAC, and our ever-expanding road budget.

NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — One woman, the driver of a car that slammed into a tractor trailer about 8 p.m. Friday night in Stafford County, faces charges.

The crash happened when a tractor trailer was backing into the parking lot of a business while using all four lanes of U.S. 1 just south of Telegraph Road. About the same time, the female driver of a 2001 Volvo sedan with small child inside traveling south on U.S. 1 slammed into the truck’s trailer, said Virginia State Police Sgt. Les Tyler.
