Project Mend-A-House, a non-profit organization serving seniors, veterans, the disabled and low-income residents of Prince William County, the City of Manassas, and Manassas Park, is offering a fall risk screening at no charge to adults over 60-years-old.

Many residents in Northern Virginia understand the need to change land use practices to stop or minimize habitat destruction and preserve good examples of our native plant communities. An increasing number of people also support combating the spread of non-native invasive species to include problem plant species and insects such as gypsy moth, which can strip tree foliage and cause their death.

RICHMOND, Va. – Virginians will soon have two new options for specialty license plates: one for fans of the Washington Nationals baseball team, and the other sporting the words “Peace Begins at Home.”
A 27-year-old cab driver from Woodbridge is charged in the shooting of an Alexandria police officer on Wednesday.
The shooting stemmed from a traffic stop in Alexandria.
Prince William police said a man is charged in the robbery of a Burke and Herbert bank in Woodbridge last weekend.
The man was found in North Carolina, and he’s also wanted in connection to a crime in West Virginia.
