PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Officials plan to improve a section of Logmill Road in Prince William County. The hilly two-lane road in recent years has been the site of several crashes, some that were fatal and involved teenagers.

Transportation officials say they want to a improve a portion of Logmill Road, between Parnell Court and Meander Creek Lane, to improve the sight distance to make it easier to see oncoming drivers, as well as improve the vertical lines of the roadway.


The Virginia Commonwealth Games were held last weekend. Although most of the events were held in Roanoke, the Manassas Boy’s and Girl’s Club was the site of the state’s fencing event.

The Mixed Foil event event was won by Prince William native Brad Jones. Jones, 20, is a coach at Ronin Fencing Foundation (RFF) which holds classes at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club in Manassas.


NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Construction crews this weekend will finish what they started last weekend. New steel beams will be erected at a bridge at Telegraph Road in North Stafford.

With the new steel will come delays on along a portion of Interstate 95 where the work will take place. Drivers wills be detoured off the highway and onto U.S. 1 both Friday and Saturday nights.


WOODBRIDGE, Va. — An alleged message from the FBI prompted a the suspect in a child pornography case to bring in his computer to a police station. Following the suspect’s arrest, police stated this is the third arrest this month in Prince William County “involving juveniles sending inappropriate photos or messages to adults.”
