As much of the region was hit with 6-12 inches of snow, VDOT has been working around the clock to ensure that major roadways are clear.
Now that I-95 and many primary roads are clear, VDOT is moving their focus to secondary roads and subdivisions in the Stafford area.

He is shocked to find some corrupt cops right in his own department. I could make a reference to Bogart and “Casablanca” here, but only my daughters would get it.

We’ve now heard from Clear Channel Outdoor regarding the fallen billboard.
New Cingular Wireless, a communications business, is seeking a lease on Stone River Water Tank in Stafford. The company is seeking to rent the property and use the water tower to transmit and receive communication signals.
If permitted, New Cingular Wireless will hold a five-year lease of the property, and pay $2,850 monthly for the first year, with a 3% rent increase each following year.
Closings, cancellations and delays will continue into Friday.
Schools
We are beginning to see closures come in.
Prince William County Public Schools are closed Thursday. They posted the following statement:
Those winter storm warnings aren’t going anywhere fast. They’ll stay posted through 5 a.m. Friday as, yes, another round of snow is expected to hit the Mid Atlantic tonight.
An additional two to four inches of snow could fall before 2 a.m., and it’s coming from a another low pressure system making its way north form the Gulf Coast.
