DALE CITY, Va. — Summer driving season is heating up, and officials fear the number of crashes caused by distracted driving could rise.

Again this year, officials gathered at a rest stop on Interstate 95 in Dale City, at the heart of the 95 Express Lanes construction project where HOV lanes are being converted into toll lanes, to warn drivers about the dangers of texting while driving.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Drivers on U.S. 1 in Stafford on Sunday should expect to see a mass of police officers on bicycles, and they’ll be riding for a good cause.

MANASSAS, Va. — On April 26. Hugh and Kerry Ickrath of Manassas held an open house at 9300 Prescott Avenue.

The home, which is over 100 years old, was just days away from demolition when the couple and a few investors bought it via short sale last year. Sadly, the home had been deteriorating since the mid 1980s and was eventually boarded up. Ickrath and several neighbors worked tirelessly to save the historic building.
