Jeanine Lawson ordered her new business cards that she’ll hand to constituents showing that she is the Brentsville District Supervisor.

The printed office address on those cards is Innovation Park @ Prince William – the development that has become to embody Prince William County’s economic expansion efforts. It’s home to biotech firms, and George Mason University’s Prince William Campus, and now to Lawson and her staff.


Dixie: A 10-month-old  Chocolate Lab female mix who is full of energy.

Justin Wilk, an education consultant, and former Prince William County teacher, is running for the Potomac District seat on the Prince William County School Board.

The incumbent, Betty Covington, has not declared her candidacy to run for re-election, but Wilk feels that there needs to be a change on the School Board.


The Prince William County Fire Marshal has confirmed some information about what took place on Friday night. 

The vent pipe from the hot water heater to the boiler had rusted through. This caused CO to leak into the building, according to the Fire Marshal. The store has remained closed while there are ongoing repairs.


On Thursday, the Stafford Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about shots being fired in a residential area on Forest Lane Road for the second time in the past month. While no one was injured, there is property damage to some of the homes near the incident.

The Sheriff’s Department has been unable to locate the shooter or shooters involved in the incidents, and are asking Stafford residents to help identify them.


The world-renowned Tango Buenos Aires journeys through the life of Argentina’s famous former first lady when it brings performances of “The Song of Eva Perón” to George Mason University’s Center for the Arts in Fairfax on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 8 p.m. and the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 4 p.m.

Pre-performance discussions, free to ticketholders, will be held 45 minutes prior to each performance in the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery at the Hylton Center and Grand Tier III at the Center for the Arts (sponsored by the Friends of the Center for the Arts).


Andrea Bailey, a military wife and corporate business development professional, plans to run for the Board of Supervisors in the Potomac District. Maureen Caddigan (R-Potomac) currently holds the seat.

But before she can run against Caddigan, Bailey must first win the primary against Dumfries Councilman Derrick Wood. The Democratic primary will take place on June 13.
