Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center offers basic sports summer camps, such as football, soccer, baseball, and tennis. Cheerleading, Jiu Jitsu, Self Defense for girls, and Land and Sea Volleyball are only some of the unique programs offered during the summer.

In particular, land and sea volleyball is a great choice because campers get to practice their skills both in the gymnasium and in the pool using a volleyball net.  


In March, OHS was recognized as one of 13 schools across the country to be named a 2015 GRAMMY Signature School. The recognition cites U.S. public high schools that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to music education during an academic school year and beyond.

On May 13, The Osbourn High School (OHS) Performing Arts Department was presented with the GRAMMY Foundation Signature Enterprise Award and a check for $5,500 presented by Tom Goldfogle, president of the DC Chapter of the Recording Academy for their profound efforts in music education.


As sure as Spring has sprung (and now Summer too) so too will the city see an increase in quality of life issues. While the city has a strong team of folks working on these issues, we need all citizens to work together to be Good Neighbors.

I, like you, care deeply about our city and its neighborhoods. After all, our city is only as strong as the neighborhoods that comprise it. As the former Vice President of one of our City’s largest HOAs and as a member of the City Council, I know the challenges our home owners are facing every day.


King, an Iraq War Army veteran and a Sheriff’s deputy in Fairfax County, was officially filed as the candidate by Prince William County Democratic Party Chair Harry Wiggins. He lives in Woodbridge with his wife and three children.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to serve the residents of the second district. This district needs a representative who will work to reduce school overcrowding, increase our transportation options, and work tirelessly to attract more jobs to the area,” King stated.


Potomac Local reported earlier this weekend that Hall had been offered a new job, according to the Virginia House Democrats Caucus Director.

Last night, Republican primary candidates Mark Dudenhefer and Tim Ciampaglio faced off in an election to be their party’s nominee for the 2nd district. Dudenhefer came out the victor, and will now be the Republican candidate.
