An argument between two young adults led to a shooting today in Dumfries.
Fire on Belmont Bay Drive in Woodbridge caused by lightning strike. Fire in attic. Flames doused by fire crews. Homes have water damage due to rain.
The fire ignited prior to the severe thunderstorm that rolled through the area. The call for help went about about 6:20 p.m., said OWL VFD spokeswoman Rebecca Barnes.

Twenty-three year old Woodbridge man Johnathan Coleman – known as “Swag” – was sentenced to seven years in prison and five years of supervised release for an armed robbery.
On March 18, Coleman pled guilty to using, carrying and displaying a firearm during a violent crime.
On June 17, there were three residential burglaries in homes in Woodbridge and Manassas.
In the morning on June 17, Prince William police responded to a residence on Hogan Place in Manassas to investigate one burglary at a vacant home.
Yesterday, Jennie Dean Elementary School finished their school year with a special surprise.
