Someone stopped at Bobby Flay’s burger restaurant in Woodbridge – but not for a bite to eat.
On the morning of August 8, Prince William police were called to the Bobby’s Burger Palace location at Potomac Mills Mall for a burglary.
A man was stabbed outside a Walmart store in North Stafford.
It happened at 1:29 a.m. Sunday at the Walmart at 217 Garrisonville Road. The victim was riding in the passenger seat of a car and had been stopped at a nearby 7-Eleven store at 201 Garrisonville Road to get gas.
Virginia State Police are looking into the cause of a fatal crash on Interstate 95 in Stafford County early Sunday morning.

There will be a meeting to talk about the I-66 and Route 15 interchange project this week.
The meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 12, at Ronald Reagan Middle School in Haymarket, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
Two Prince William fire and rescue stations are getting a makeover.
Station 17 in Montclair is getting its roof replaced, and Station 3 in Triangle is getting upgrades to its communication and technology equipment, according to Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue’s Deputy Chief Tim Keen.
Last year, Virginia tourism brought in $22.4 billion in revenue – $1.5 billion of it in taxes that went straight to the state and localities – and employed 213,000 residents.
But despite being one of Virginia’s top five industries, the tourism industry only received $27 million in funding, according to Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association (VHTA) President Eric Terry.

The new gas main should be in place by the end of the month. Here’s more from Columbia Gas spokesman Robert Innes:
Columbia Gas of Virginia is replacing 780′ of 4″plastic gas main on Portner Av between West St and Main St. in collaboration with the City of Manassas new storm and water project. There are four Columbia Gas of Virginia customer service lines in the 9200 and 9300 blocks of Portner Avenue which are involved in this project. Each customer will be notified in advance of the need to transfer the existing service line to the new natural gas main. The customer will be temporarily without service as we complete this work. This transfer should take a couple of hours. When the service line is transferred to the new natural gas main, Columbia Gas technicians will perform a safety check and relight the customer’s natural gas equipment. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August.
