On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Partners on Aging-TRIAD, and the Stafford Hospital Center will hold a National Drug Take Back Initiative.
The National Take Back Initiative is a collaborative effort focused on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from medicine cabinets all over the country. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., citizens may drop off expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled or non-controlled substances and other medications to Stafford deputies for destruction at the Stafford Hospital Center, located at 101 Hospital Center Blvd. in Stafford.
