Prince William police are looking for two suspects, following an armed robbery in Manassas.
According to Prince William police, officers were called to investigate the robbery at Halterpath Trail in Manassas on the morning of September 1.
Stafford County will consider burying power lines as part of its Route 1 improvement project.
The $11.2 million project will widen, and add turn lanes to Route 1 between Courthouse and Bells Hill roads in Stafford. Work on the project would begin in 2018 and be finished a year later.
It will be up to Virginia’s State Corporation Commission to decide where a new electric transmission line will run in Haymarket.
The project, which has been met with an outcry from the community, currently has five different routes that are on the table, according to the Dominion Power website.

A Manassas man has been charged for fleeing for his vehicle while it was still in drive, and had a child inside.
According to Prince William police, an officer saw a suspicious vehicle near Lomond Drive and Lomond South Drive in Manassas on the evening of August 30.

Stafford County fire and rescue crews were called to the scene at 5:28 a.m. and found a single-family home with fire on the first floor. Fire crews went to work and doused the blaze in about 20 minutes.
