Police arrested four people and are searching for a fifth in connection to a fatal shooting in Gainesville on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015.

Mum Mum — the new Thai restaurant that sits outside the Hylton Performing Arts Center — will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.

The Amethyst Health Center located at 9380 Forestwood Lane in Manassas will close its doors after 27 years. The owner of the clinic will retire this month. She declined to give her name to Potomac Local reached by phone.
Patients at the clinic may obtain medical records between now and the closure date.

An Exxon gas station at 13505 Minneville Road was robbed at gunpoint about 12:30 p.m.
Police said the robber was in his late 20s to early 30s, is black with a dark complexion, has a thin build, and was wearing a long-sleeved shirt with white stitching and black pants.

Prince William County plans to open its 13th high school within five years.
A groundbreaking will be held for a new R. Dean Kilby Elementary School in Woodbridge.
A replacement elementary school will be constructed next to the existing Kilby school building on Horner Road that opened in 1959.
Residents in Manassas Park will get a break on their utility bills.
City Manager Kimberly Alexander said all late fees for city utility bills, to include water bills, will be waived until Monday.
