Tolliver turned himself into police, according to the Stafford sheriff’s office. 

Chancellor Tolliver was taken into custody this evening without incident after turning himself into authorities in Stafford County.  Tolliver is currently being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.   


As students mourn the loss of their beloved snow days, some stop to ask themselves; What does this mean for the remainder of the school year?

Prince William County  Public Schools are allotted 12 snow days this school year. After the #sNOVAlanche storm that blanketed the region with up to to two feet of snow January 22 and 23 , Prince William County Public School students and teachers have about 5 snow days left.


Sen. Jeremy McPike (D-Prince William County) had a major breakthrough in the legislature this week. On Tuesday, he passed Senate Bill 515—the first bill passed by the freshman senator.

“I am happy to see such strong support from my colleagues and the food truck industry,” said McPike regarding the bill. “These are very active venues and I just wanted to help provide commuters with options to and from work.”


Two feet of snow didn’t stop Debra Bobitt from helping to get residents to critical medical care.

Area road conditions were treacherous when the major winter storm brought the region to the standstill on Jan. 22, 23 and 24. Despite the snow, hospitals, and medical clinic can’t afford to take a snow day when they have to accommodate patients who need daily treatment.
