Good Morning Prince William – Serve our Willing Warriors (SOWW), which helps support our Nation’s wounded, injured or ill military members, is looking for Ambassadors and Guest Services Support Team members. They provide an enjoyable respite experience for our recovering warriors, their families, and their caretakers in a warm, home-like atmosphere. · Our Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is still looking for volunteer presenters age 55+ to teach 4th grade children the life skills to keep them safe alone and safe at home. Residents who live aboard Quantico Marine Corps Base are reporting a funky discoloration to their water.

For the past three days, Quantico officials say they’ve received multiple phone calls from concerned residents who say the water color is off. That has led to the additional testing of the water on base, and officials tell us they’re looking for the cause of the problem.


Prince William County Police Chief Barry Barnard will speak to residents Thursday tonight in Dale City. 

It’s part of a regular series of engagements called a “Conversation with the Chief” where residents are invited to ask Barnard about any topics relating to public safety in Prince William County. 


The Science and Technology Campus of George Mason University outside Manassas will turn 20 years old this month.

Formerly the George Mason University Prince William Campus, several new amenities are planned for the campus to include a new research center, a 350-unit apartment complex, and a brewery.


WOODBRIDGE — Is a new $14 million animal shelter in the future for Prince William County taxpayers?

That is what the county’s Board of Supervisors must decide on Tuesday night when they decide which one of four new animals shelters will replace, or improve the existing 45-year-old facility located next to a landfill.
