MANASSAS — In a unanimous vote, the Manassas City Council on Monday cleared the way for a charity to purchase, and fix the beleaguered East End Mobile Home Park.

The city was ready to pay $1.9 million for the park along Route 28 after its owner, East End Mobile Home Park, LLC, did not fix leading sewage in the park. City leaders had planned to force out some 300 people who live in 58 trailers in the park, demolish the trailers, and fix the leasing sewage problem.

Malicious Wounding – On October 14 at 12:12 a.m, officers responded to a residence located in the 13000 block of Dane Valley Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that the victim, 19-year-old man of Woodbridge, was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim to the ground and kicked him in the mouth damaging several of the victim’s teeth.


Crews working to widen Courthouse Road ahead of construction of a new diverging diamond interchange struck a gas main this morning.

Rescue crews and sheriff’s deputies are in the area of Ramoth Church and Courthouse roads in Stafford where a six-inch gas main was reported to have been struck at 11:15 a.m.


At its public meeting on Wednesday night, the Prince William County School Board is set to approve the sale of four and a half acres of unwanted land at the site of its soon-to-be-built 13th high school to NOVEC.

The new school will be located off Progress Court in Gainesville, near Jiffy Lube Live.
