Deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office have apprehended two suspects in connection with a counterfeit check ring targeting local banks.
A report on the crowded parking conditions will be given to the Occoquan Town Council Tuesday night.
The study does not recommend the town build a parking garage.

A total of 36 people participated in the 1st annual Haymarket Police Department Breast Cancer Walk.
Chief Kevin Lands said his mother died three years ago of breast cancer, and didn’t get regular mammograms. The effort to raise awareness for breast cancer is important to him, he told Haymarket Local.
Prince William police tell us the missing 16-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert across the state on Sunday was found that afternoon on a park bench in Dale City, along with her suspected captor.
When police questioned the couple about their identity, police said both provided a fake name.
