“Here are a few brief moments from the 2025 Veterans Parade in Downtown Manassas,” Historic Manassas, Inc. posted. “If you see yourself, tag away (and don’t forget to check out the photo gallery).”

The annual parade in Downtown Manassas celebrated local veterans and military families, featuring marching bands, community groups, and classic vehicles as residents lined the streets to honor those who served.

Starting today, November 1, 2025, drivers traveling through the intersection of Liberia Avenue and Mathis Avenue in Manassas will enter a 30-day warning period for a new photo red light enforcement camera.

The city says traffic safety studies have shown this intersection has a high number of violations and crashes, making it a suitable location for red light camera enforcement. Once the warning period ends on December 1, violators caught running red lights will receive a $50 civil penalty, mailed to the vehicle’s registered owner. These fines don’t add points to a driver’s license or affect insurance rates, according to the Manassas City Police Department.

Flu vaccines will be available for free this Saturday, November 1, at Metz Middle School in Manassas. The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 9950 Wellington Road, and no appointment is necessary.

The event is open to anyone age three and older. Organizers will also offer $100 gift card giveaways throughout the day.

You can walk up Main Street.”

“When the parade is going from 11 am–12:30 pm you will not be able to crossover Center Street,” the post continued. Handicap parking is available at East Street off Church Street and in the Parking Garage.
