Tuesday, Jan 6, 2026, will mark the five-year anniversary of the attack on our Capitol. Please join Woodbridge United as we gather in remembrance, and in honor of the officers who lost their lives because of the riot incited on that day.
Date: Tuesday Jan 6, from 3:30 to 5 pm
Location: westbound sidewalk of Old Bridge Road (across from Tackett’s Mill commuter lot, between Clipper and Minnieville) – where we’ll be visible to afternoon commuter traffic.
A small number of pre-made signs will be available. You are encouraged to bring your own to help spread the message that we stand opposed to the past and present violence perpetrated by the current administration.
Please bundle up, dressing in layers and giving special consideration to your hands, which cannot remain in your pockets while holding signs. We will meet regardless of the temperature. (The folks in northern states who regularly rally in below-zero temps offer inspiration. Our weather is much more forgiving.)
