Join Prince William County for our Poppies for Patriots Memorial Day Ceremony to honor and remember those who gave their lives in military service.
Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30 p.m. on the Sean T. Connaughton Plaza at the county government complex.
Children are invited to take part in a special coloring activity, offering a meaningful way for our youngest attendees to reflect on remembrance and honor.
Following the ceremony, participants will be invited to write the name of a loved one or someone they know who died in combat, or just a message of support, on a red paper poppy. The poppies will then be displayed on a “poppy wall.”
“Poppies for Patriots” is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend and take a moment to honor and reflect on the lives lost in service to our country.
