Myth to reality by Kate Brogdon

A portrait was historically crafted to capture a real person; now it serves as a starting point for fantastical tales. Myth is thought to root in reality but perception bends beneath the weight of expectation: if we see what we believe, how do we know it is actual? Reality also is the daily fragments such as wrappers among the other packaging, invitations and images. There are echos from different worlds interconnected by similar proportions and paint.
