Kay Frances Swanson, age 68, of Manassas, VA, went to be with her Lord on October 4, 2017. Beloved wife of Tilman R. Swanson. Loving mother of Jennifer Ragan (Mike), and Timothy Swanson (Lorren). Cherished grandmother of Matthew Ragan. Dear sister of Rose Bonner, Roger Miller (Ginger), and Paul Miller (Linda). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kay loved her family; especially her grandson. Christmas time in her home was very special and an elegant time. Entertaining was also an important facet of her life. She loved her garden and the outdoors. In quiet times, Kay enjoyed to read.

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Paul Blinkhorn announces his passing. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving wife Violet; his children and his extended family at the Brodnax Fire Department. A local memorial will be held at Brodnax Fire Department on Saturday, October 7, at 1PM and his burial services will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11am.

Joe Ann had worked for over 40 years for Inova Health System and had previously served as an ER Admissions Manager at Fair Oaks Hospital. Joe Ann was a longtime former member of National Gardens Baptist Church in Falls Church, VA and Woodbine Baptist Church in Manassas. She was exceptionally devoted to her family.
