Students in Prince William County will not have school today because it’s a teacher workday.
Faculty at the schools will use the day to enter information into the schools’ computer system for report cards that will be distributed Feb. 10
We considered having teachers work at home to enter grades and prepare report cards but, with the possibility of electrical power outages like those associated with last week’s storm and current limits on the technology in place that would allow all teachers to create report cards remotely, providing the teacher workday is essential. PWCS is in the process of upgrading our student information system, which will better provide remote access in the future.
