Sidney “Buck” Brown, 78, of Woodbridge, Virginia, died May 6, 2021, at home after a long illness. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and raised in Austin, Texas.
He retired from the US Army after serving 22 years and worked for Computer Sciences Corporation until he became ill. He loved all things Texas from the Dallas Cowboys to armadillos and never missed a NASCAR race.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Adrian Brown and the late Betty McBride Cantwell.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheila, and his two daughters, Deanna Booth (Colt), and Carey Brown both of Woodbridge and three grandchildren, MacKenzie Booth, Madison Booth, and Ethan Vrooman. He is also survived by his sister Linda (Danny) Huff, niece Tracy Huff and newphew Travis (Amy) Huff all of Houston.
Graveside services are scheduled on Tuesday, May 18th at 12:30pm, at Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
