WOODBRIDGE — Police say they have arrested a suspect in a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at Veterans Park in Woodbridge.

Sexual Assault Investigation *ARREST – On May 8, the suspect sought in connection to a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at Veterans Memorial Park located at 14300 Veterans Dr. in Woodbridge on April 30 was arrested. The accused, identified as Gary Alexander HORSEY, turned himself into police without incident.

Gary Alexander HORSEY, 53, of the 11500 block of Accolade Ct. in Clifton, MD
Charged with 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery

Residential Burglary *ARREST – On May 8 at 9:55PM, officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 8100 block of Ashton Ave. in Manassas (20109) on a Honda Civic.
One of the occupants, identified as the accused, was determined to be wanted in connection to a residential burglary that was reported to have occurred in the 7400 block of Boundary Ave. in Manassas on August 26.
As the accused was being detained, he attempted to flee on foot. Officers caught up to the accused and, after a brief struggle, were able to take him into custody without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Daniel FUENTES, was arrested.

Charged with burglary, grand larceny and resisting arrest

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On August 26 at 8:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Boundary Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime 1:00PM and 7:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. It is believed that entry was made into the residence through a back window. Ammunition and a safe were reported missing.
