It may be the dead of summer, when it seems everyone is on vacation. But you can still rock out without leaving town!
Junk Food to rock Workhouse
If you like unapologetic rock and roll, you will love the sounds of “Junk Food” performing live Sunday at the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center.
The band is well known for their original music, but also loves to play covers of well-known songs from the 80s, and has for years entertained large crows, family events and college bars all along the east coast, according to a statement from the Workhouse Arts Center.
All of the band members have played with bands like “Dave Matthews Band,” STYX,” “LIVE,” “Jimmie’s Chicken Shack” and even “Jimmy Buffett.”
The show begins at the Workhouse at 8 p.m. Tickets at the door for members are $8, and are $10 for non members.
