Loose Goose Found in Stafford—Looking for His Family

A rather unexpected guest has found his way to the Stafford County Animal Shelter, and we need your help getting him home.

This one-year-old male goose was discovered waddling around Kellogg Mill Rd (22405), seemingly lost and without clear direction—just honks and vibes. Despite his confusion, he’s surprisingly laid-back for a goose and currently stays at the shelter while we search for his owner.

Details:

  • Male, approximately 1 year old
  • No ID, no collar—just a lot of personality
  • Friendly (for a goose) but definitely seems like he belongs somewhere

If this honorable honker belongs to you—or if you know someone missing a feathered friend—please call out to Stafford County Animal Shelter as soon as possible.
