A woman was stabbed during an argument that took place inside of a car in Woodbridge.
Prince William police have more details in a press release.
Malicious Wounding – On November 18 at 7:49PM, officers responded to the 2700
block of Wakewater Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing.The victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were inside his vehicle when a verbal altercation escalated. During the
encounter, the accused brandished a knife before stabbing the victim.The victim was able to get out of the vehicle and walk to a nearby business where police were contacted. The accused fled the area in his burgundy 1999 Mercedes SUV. Upon arrival,
officers attempted to render aid to the victim until rescue personnel arrived at the
location.The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Michael Lynn WILLIS. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

In unrelated police news, investigators were called to the scene of a crash where they found a Warrenton man had died after suffering a heart attack.

Death Investigation | Vehicle Related – On November 18 at 10:51AM, officers responded to the 9000 block of Westchester Dr. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2006 Lexus RX400, identified as a 57-year-old man, appeared to have suffered a medical emergency causing the vehicle to leave the roadway before striking an embankment, where it came to rest.
A passing motorist observed the vehicle off of the roadway and contacted the police. Rescue personnel responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased. Given the vehicle was on a state maintained roadway, this incident will be classified as a fatal crash.
