DALE CITY — Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe will be in Dale City to kick off the campaign of Virginia Delegate Luke Torian.
Torian, who has represented the 52nd House District in eastern Prince William County since 2010, will kick off his campaign Saturday in Dale City.
McAuliffe will join Torian at the Prince William County Democratic Committee headquarters at noon before heading off to canvass area neighborhoods. The event will take place at 5537 Mapledale Plaza.
Torian faces a Primary challenger Kevin Wade. In recent days, Wade has faced criticism from fellow Democrats and the Prince William County Chapter of the NAACP for a cartoon meme that appeared on his Facebook page last fall that use “N” word.
