James Randall Mullins

James Mullins of Haymarket, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on April 17 at the age of 62. He passed in his home that he had shared with his cherished wife, Barbara Walker Mullins, with whom he has now been reunited, as their love story continues. He is loved and will be missed by brothers Steven, Richard, and Kevin and sister Elizabeth Mullins Karmosky and their spouses, his nieces and nephews, a close and loving extended family, and all of the people fortunate to have shared his friendship.

Jimmy was born October 3, 1956 in Tennessee to Norma Elizabeth and Eugene Mullins. He worked for many years in various capacities in the construction field. His home was filled with love that he and Barb shared with their furry kids, Emmylou and Sasha, and a variety of transient rescues, critters from birds, squirrels, raccoons and skunks to all of the beloved horses and dogs they raised and loved over the years.

A celebration of their lives will take place on Saturday April 20th from 4pm to 7pm at the Warrenton Moose Lodge. All are welcome to share memories, listen to some bluegrass, and discover the connections we all share because of these two kind, generous and genuinely good people. Jimmy and Barb quietly went about their lives making the world a better place and while we will miss them, our lives have been enriched for having known them.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers or donations , their memory be honored with a simple act of kindness to person or animal.
