DALE CITY — Two suspects tied a shooting in Woodbridge are now in custody.

On April 17, detectives in Prince William County, with the assistance of Fairfax County police, located and arrested two suspects sought in connection to a shooting that occurred in the 4400 block of Evergreen Drive, just off Darbydale Avenue in Dale City on April 14.

Earlier in the week, detectives also arrested a female suspect in connection to the investigation.

An investigation revealed that the female suspect made arrangements with the victim to conduct a narcotics transaction. During the encounter, two men approached the victim, brandished firearms, and demanded his property, according to Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

At one point, the victim was shot before all three suspects fled the area. The victim is expected to survive his injuries sustained during the encounter, said Perok.

Following the investigation, all three suspects were arrested.

Arrested on April 16 and 17: Roxana Sarai Ramos Torres, 19, of the 4400 block of Worchester Drive in Woodbridge, and Ray William Waller, 21, of the 6400 block of Rockshire St in Alexandria, and a 17-year-old male of Alexandria.

All are charged with aggravated malicious wounding, robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Perok said the shooting occurred at 9:55 p.m. when police were called to 4400 block of Evergreen Drive in Dale City. The investigation revealed the 22-year-old victim was with a female acquaintance when he was shot and was able to make it back to his home where he called the police.

The victim was flown to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
