WOODBRIDGE — Three people escaped a two-alarm fire today in Woodbridge.
Firefighters were called to 1784 Tiger Lily Circle at 2:47 a.m. for a townhouse fire. When they arrived, they found fire at the back deck of the house, states OWL Volunteer Fire Department spokeswoman Rebecca Barnes.
Fire crews went inside the house and found two adults and one child and helped them to safety. All three victims were evaluated and suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, said Barnes.
Fire & Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD, and PWC Department of Fire & Rescue, as well as Prince William County Police, were called to the fire.
The family that lives in the townhouse is displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office.
