PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY – (Press Release) On March 23 at 5:40 p.m., officers responded to the Macy’s within Manassas Mall located at 8270 Sudley Rd. in Manassas to investigate an armed robbery.
A store employee reported to police that three juvenile males entered the store and selected merchandise from the racks. Two of the males entered the dressing room area with the merchandise and, when they exited the dressing room, the merchandise had been concealed. The three males then attempted to exit the store where another employee encountered them. One suspect made verbal threats while brandishing a knife at the employee. The three suspects fled the scene on foot.
An officer canvassing the area recovered the merchandise in a surrounding neighborhood. The suspects were not located. No injuries were reported.
