OCCOQUAN — (Press Release) They’ll be passing out treats in Occoquan again this year during the town’s annualChocolate Walk.
Sponsored by the Occoquan Merchants Guild ~ Participating businesses flying red balloons will offer visitors to Occoquan a wide array of chocolate treats throughout the day.
Enjoy truffles, parfaits, chocolate wine, brownies, fudge and so much more. Start the delicious journey at Town Hall and pick up a Chocolate passport entry form for a chance to win a Chocolate Diamond pendant necklace and a $150 gift certificate. Follow the rules to win. Random drawing. No purchase necessary. Participants need to be 18 years and older to win.
The event takes place in Occoquan on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Shuttle Bus service is available from the nearby Route 123/Old Bridge commuter lot to 305 Mill Street, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. The ride is FREE but donations to the nonprofit Patriots for Disabled Divers are appreciated.
