WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters responded to the report of a Commercial Structure Fire at 14135 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Woodbridge. OWL VFD arrived on scene within minutes and reported a fully involved fire at Meadow Farms Nursery.
The fire broke out at 11:04 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2019.
A second alarm was called, and a defensive position was taken due to downed sparking power lines and the fact that the building was fully engulfed in flames. PWCPD shut down Route 1 in both directions during operations.
Fire and Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD, Dumfries Triangle VFD, PWC DFR, and Prince William County PD responded to the incident. Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
