WOODBRIDGE — The first baby of the New Year at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center came into the world about an hour and a half after the ball dropped.
Baby Jocelyn Zurita was born at 1:27 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2019.
Child and mother, Rosario Zurita, are doing well, a hospital spokeswoman tells us.
The baby weighed seven pounds, two-and-a-half ounces, and was 19 inches long.
