Roy James O’Boyle age 86, of Manassas, VA passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Manor Care of Fair Oaks.
He was born on October 30, 1930 in Scranton, PA the son of the late Roy J. and Gertrude (McGovern) O’Boyle. He was preceded in death by sisters Jean Walsh, Margaret Watkins and brother John Muskey. Prior to retirement, he was the plant manager for Shenandoah’s Pride Dairy. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion Post 10 in Manassas.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joan M. O’Boyle; three children, Marie Becker and husband Christopher of Bel Air, MD, Janet Hagood of Manassas, VA, Roy J. O’Boyle, Jr. of New Baltimore, VA; six grandchildren, Alyson Becker, Sean Becker, Alexander Hagood, Lauren Hagood, Roy J. O’Boyle III, Corrinn O’Boyle; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the immediate family followed by the internment at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
