Roger Lee Himelright

Roger Himelright, passed away on October 20, 2017 at His home in Manassas, Virginia after a lost battle with cancer.

Roger was born on April 20, 1943 to Courtney S. Himelright and Virginia D. Himelright in Strasberg Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Himelright.

Roger was married Shirley L. McDonald-Himelright. They were happily married for 54 years. Survived by his sons, Gregory Lee Himelright, Roy Allen Himelright; Granddaughters, Courtney Rae Hurst-Himelright, Mandy Ann Himelright;
Brothers, Gary Himelright and Danny Himelright and wife Cindy; Sister, Sandra Himelright Link and husband Tex.

Funeral service will be held at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia on Thursday October 26, 2017 The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 12:00 PM. Followed by a Service at 1:00PM, Interment Service immediately to follow at Stonewall Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to “St. Jude’s Hospital” www.stjude.org, or “Youth for Tomorrow” youthfortomorrow.org
