John Leonard Stefko, 80, of Manassas died at his home on Sunday, October 8, 2017, from complications of Parkinson’s Disease.
John was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, where he was a dedicated usher for many years, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He had been retired from Georator Corporation for 17 years and enjoyed bowling and time with his family. He was an amazing and kind man, loving husband, father, grandfather, friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all. He was always willing to help others anyway he could.
He is survived by Beverly, his wife of 58 years, his four children; Patty Kondas (Andy) of Warrenton, VA, Jim Stefko (Susan) of Manassas, VA, Mary Donovan (Joe) of Stafford, VA and Betty Myers (David) of Warrenton, VA; grandchildren, Chris Stefko, Bobby Donovan and Cody Myers and step-grandchildren Brent and Brian Foveaux.
The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, at Pierce Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.
