Isabel Lucy Peyton, age 92, of Richmond, Virginia formerly of Haymarket, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017.
She was born on January 24, 1925 in Loudoun County, Virginia the daughter of the late Elmer and Lucy (Pearson) Harriss. She attended the Little River Baptist Church in Aldie, Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis H. Peyton, Sr and a grandson, Christopher B. Smith.
Survivors include her four children, Lucy P. Snider and husband Woody, Lewis H. “Buddy” Peyton, Jr. and wife Imener, Darlene P. Franklin and husband Steve, and Thomas H. “Tom” Peyton; two grandchildren, Mark Snider and Kaitlyn Bullock; three great grandchildren, Ryan Snider, Morgan Snider and Colton Bullock.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia where a memorial service will be held at 2:00PM with Rev. Dr. Billy G. Tatum officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
