John Walter Para, II of Manassas, VA, died unexpectedly on March 18, 2017 at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA.
He was born on September 3, 1958, in Binghamton, NY, to John Walter Para, Sr. and Joann Marie Para.
John spent most of his life in Manassas, VA and graduated from Osbourn High School in 1976. He was an accomplished welder and a Class-A contractor in HVAC. His faith was his rock and he was active in his church, Chapel Springs Assembly of God. Recently, he also became a member of the All Saints Catholic Church community and followed his father to become a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his daughter Christina L. Para of Manassas, grandchildren Eleyna Paige Para, Cadyn Estelle Peters, Owen Travis Peters and Olivia Terese Peters, mother Joann M. Para, brother R. Joseph Para, and sisters Lynn Renee Para and Lisa Marie Toth.
