Nancy Claire Benson, 73, ended her brave 8-year battle with pancreatic cancer on November 17, 2015.
Nancy was born on May 14, 1942 in McKeesport, Pa. and is the daughter of Virginia and Arthur Williams (deceased).
Nancy was a very loving wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was an active member of her church.
Nancy married the love of her life on December 21, 1961. She is survived by her husband, Gene Benson and their 3 children: Ray Benson wife Tammy, Gloria Benson husband Alain Tharp and Jill Benson.
She is also survived by her two grandsons, Cameron Benson and Tyler Benson.
Funeral Services will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 20th at Northwest Tampa Church of God, 5131 Gunn Highway, Tampa, with visitation from 6 p.m. until service time.
Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 23rd at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with Pastor Ernest Roberts officiating.
