Owner of Manassas insurance agency, Jeffrey Brown, named ‘Agent of the Year’

 
 In a ceremony at their Annual Convention in Virginia Beach VA on June 30,2015, The Professional Insurance Agents Association of Virginia and DC has named Jeffrey N. Brown of Brown’s Insurance Agency in Manassas their Agent of the Year for 2015.
 
The Agent of the Year award is given annually to a member agent who most exemplifies the professional standards and conduct expected from a Professional Insurance Agent. PIA of VA/DC is a professional trade organization for independent insurance agents in Virginia and the District of Columbia, and part of PIA National. They provide continuing education opportunities for their member force and lobbying efforts at the state and national level. PIA of VA & DC also supports Special Olympics of Virginia, having raised over $425,000 over the past 30 years for this deserving charity.

Mr. Brown has been an active member of PIA since 1991, and is a strong supporter of the Special Olympics charity events. He received his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) Designation in 1992. He is a graduate of Brentsville District High School and Radford University, where he received his degree in Finance and Insurance. Jeff resides in Manassas with his wife Melanie.

The program, Nocturnes and Lullabies, spans numerous centuries and genres, and includes beloved favorites from Johannes Brahms, Leonard Bernstein, and Billy Joel, among many others. We’ll be joined by three of the DMV’s premiere professional instrumentalists – Cara Dailey, flute, Matthew Maffett, viola, and Rachel Flicker, piano.
