DUMFRIES, Va. — Could it be that he was denied the secret chicken recipe? Whatever the reason, police said a 16-year-old now faces charges after he threatened to bomb Triangle Fried Chicken in Dumfries.

Threats to Bomb – On January 5th at 11:05AM, police responded to Triangle Fried Chicken located at 18069 Triangle Shopping Plz in Dumfries (22026) for a bomb threat. Employees reported to police that an unknown male had called the establishment and reported a bomb was in the building. The building was evacuated and a Virginia State Police bomb dog was called to conduct a search which resulted in no explosive device being found. Detectives from the Intelligence Unit were able to develop a suspect. Following the investigation, petitions were obtained against the accused, a juvenile.
