Sexual Battery *ARREST – On January 14th, detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau were able to identify the suspect involved in the sexual battery which was reported to have occurred at the Potomac Library located at 2201 Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge on January 11th. Detectives located the accused in the area of Featherstone Plz and, following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.
Arrested on January 14th:
David Morgan SULLIVAN, 27, of 14758 Candlewood Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with aggravated sexual battery, indecent exposure, masturbation in public, indecent liberties with a minor and assault & battery
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond
Sexual Battery (Previously Released) – On January 11th at 5:20PM, police responded to the Potomac Library located at 2201 Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) for an assault. The victim, a 14 year old female of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was standing outside of the library when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. The man began to talk to the victim while he was still behind her. At one point, the man sexually assaulted the victim. The victim received a phone call and the man left the area. The victim was not injured. At the time of the incident, the library was closed.
