LAKE RIDGE, Va. — Storm clouds damped some of the fun at the Taste of Lake Ridge on Tuesday night, but that doesn’t mean some didn’t get their fill of local eats.
Several local restaurants served up samples to those who attended the festival held at the Tall Oaks Community Center.
By 7 p.m. storm clouds rolled in slimming out some of the crowd. However, Bungalow Alehouse – unfazed by the lightning – continued to serve up barbeque sliders to hungry patrons.
A few hardcore fans continued noshing until lightning cleared the lot.
