Pets Pulled from Blaze

Woodbridge, VA January 13, 2012 — 6:40pm Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters responded to the report of a house fire at 12709 Greenhall Drive. Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported no visible smoke or fire. The fire was quickly located in the basement and was under control within 20 minutes.

Fire and Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD, and PWCDF&R, responded to the incident. The rapid attack and confinement of the fire held the majority of the damage to the basement. Two family pets were rescued from the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office.
