Skate Park Gets a Remake

Woodbridge, Va. –– Children gathered by the half pipe herald the redesign of the only public skate facility at a Prince William County park.

Since 2009, officials with the Prince William Park Authority have discussed remodeling the Skate Park at Veterans Memorial Park in Woodbridge.

On Friday, park officials, Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank Principi and a handful of others dug into the dirt to break ground on the newly redesigned park.

Principi posted to Twitter following the groundbreaking ceremony.
